Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Rindge, NH
Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care for an 11-year-old boy in Rindge, NH. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring nurse who enjoys working with pediatric clients and is passionate about helping children live safe, comfortable, and fulfilling lives at home.
Our client is a non-verbal, wheelchair-dependent child who requires assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ongoing nursing support. He has a G-tube and requires attentive, compassionate care throughout his after-school routine.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, patient, and comfortable providing one-on-one care in a personal setting while supporting the child's comfort, safety, independence, and overall quality of life.
ScheduleMonday–Friday
3:30 PM–9:30 PM
30 hours per week
Provide compassionate one-on-one nursing care in the client's home
Provide care and monitoring related to the client's G-tube
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Provide wheelchair-related care and assistance with mobility and positioning
Monitor the client's condition and report changes appropriately
Follow the individualized plan of care and physician-directed orders
Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
Communicate effectively with the family and healthcare team
Encourage participation in age-appropriate activities and support the client's overall quality of life
Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of New Hampshire
Pediatric nursing experience preferred
Experience with G-tube care preferred
Experience caring for children with complex medical or physical needs preferred
Current CPR certification required
(Interim HealthCare offers monthly CPR renewal classes at no cost to employees.)
Reliable transportation
Ability to safely assist with the physical demands of the position
